The Delta State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) is set to inaugurate its gubernatorial campaign committees.
The APC’s gubernatorial candidate, Olorogun Great Ovedje Ogboru, will lead thousands of party chieftains and select members from the 3,670 units, 270 wards and 25 local government areas (LGAs), in the state to the occasion.
According to a statement by Mr. Zik Zulu Okafor, Media Director, Great Ogboru Campaign Organisation, the event is not a rally. He quoted Ogboru as saying: “it is for the inauguration of the different committees for the governorship campaign at all levels from the state, LGAs to the wards and units. It is, therefore, not envisioned to be a crowdy occasion. It is purely a strategic event, tactical in concept and execution to achieve a decisive victory at the governorship polls.”

The vision and mission of Ogboru who holds an MBA from Huron University of South Dakota, London Campus and a Master of International Relations from the University of Kent in Canterbury are captured in his inspirational mantra and manifesto entitled, “Delta Liberation 2019.”
