Ecobank Managing Director, Charles Kie has explained that the bank decided to partner with Okpekpe International 10Km Road Race because the objective of the organisers matches that of his bank.

Speaking in Lagos at the weekend after registering to run at the race, Kie assured stakeholders that the bank would continue to throw its weight behind the race as the official bank of the competition scheduled to hold on Saturday in Okpekpe, Edo State.

”I want to use this opportunity to state here that Ecobank fully endorses this competition and will like to assure you that we will continue to be associated with the Okpekpe International Road Race,” he said.

He commended the organisers for the elevation of the race by IAAF to a silver label status, stressed that the competition brings together men and women from various parts of the world.

“I want to congratulate the organisers of the annual Okpekpe International 10Km Road Race for the elevation of the race to a silver labeled status.
