A media partnership between Goal.com and Fox Sports has been signed in Cape Coast, Ghana. The agreement sees Goal.com become a media partner for the WAFU Cup that is being sponsored by American media conglomerate, Fox Sports.
Fox Sports revived the WAFU Cup this year by bringing all the 16 member countries in the West African region to play in the two Ghanaian cities of Cape Coast and Takoradi.
The partnership will enable Goal.com to produce exclusive content around the competitions that are being organised by Fox Sports and the West African Football Union Zone A and B.

The facilitator of the partnership, Abimbola Ilo of Integral Sponsorship and Experiential Marketing, said it was a good opportunity for the two big companies to pull their strength together to grow the WAFU Cup.
The winner of the WAFU Cup will bag $100,000 prize money.
