INEC fixes Rivers election collation, result announcement date |

Festus Okoye, the electoral body Commissioner in charge of Voter Education and Information at a media briefing in Abuja, said collation and announcement of results in the Rivers governorship election will take place between 2nd and 5th of April, 2019 at a venue to be decided by stakeholders.

Okoye said that the supplementary elections will take place on the 13th of April in local government areas where elections could not hold.

He further said Certificates of Return will be issued to successful candidates on 19TH of April.

INEC will hold security meeting in Rivers state on 29 March and also meet with critical stakeholders on 30th of March.
