The people of Maiha Local Government Area in Adamawa has vowed to vote out the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) during the governorship elections in the state.
The ADC Local Goverment chairman, Chibado Abubakar made the vow at a rally organised by the party in Maiha.
He said the reason was because they voted massively for the APC in the last elections, but were maginalised for four years with nothing to show, according to him, there is no developmental project within the last four years, unemployment rate are on the increase compared to other local governments in the state, while infrastructure were steadily decaying.

He added that, schools and hospitals have no facilities and the buildings facing out on a daily basis.
He said the local government were the highest people that voted for APC, but their vote had no meaning and did not replicate their performance, therefore the people have resorted to vote out the ruling party in favour of the ADC.
Earlier, the state chairman, Yahya Hamanjulde in his remarks, said the local government was back ward in every aspect including human capital development, therefore, there’s need for a change in government, promising that ADC will not fail them.

dulaziz Nyako in his remark, said they will regconise and carry the local government along if the party wins it elections
