A group, known as APC Unity Campaign Organisation, has disclosed that the campaign of calumny of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) cannot dislodge President Muhammadu Buhari from the seat of power come February 16, 2019 because the people of Nigeria appreciate the good works the president is doing to rid the country of corruption and restore the economy of Nigeria broken by years of PDP’s misrule.

The group made this known when it held a press conference, yesterday, in Abuja. The national coordinator of the group, Alhaji Enessy D Suleiman, said the group has been staunchly behind the president and APC’s quest to change the Nigerian story.

“The APC Unity Campaign Organisation was formed in 2014 as a support group of the All Progressives Congress (APC). It has members from different religions, tribes and states of the country to support the presidential aspiration of General Muhammadu Buhari and all other APC candidates. We have been involved in voters’ education campaign rallies, door-to-door sensitisation as well as the distribution of pro – APC campaign materials.

“We are aware of the different antics employed by the opposition parties to deceive innocent Nigerians, especially the People’s Democratic Party by sponsoring campaign of calumny and blatant lies in various media. Defeat is already imminent on them as what we are seeing from them amounts to nothing but the last kick from a dying horse.

“Under Buhari, we have witnessed a revamping of the economy as well as improvement in the security situation.

“This is why we are back in 2019, calling on well-meaning Nigerians to come out en-mass to vote massively for re-election of President Muhammadu Buhari and his able and workaholic vice president, Yemi Osinbajo.
