PMB Carpets Atiku In Bagudu’s Polling Unit

President Muhammad Buhari has recorded a landslide victory in the presidential election at the polling unit of Governor Abubakar Atiku Bagudu in Birnin Kebbi.

Buhari polled 685 votes while his main rival, Abubakar Atiku of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) got 57 votes at Mai Alelu poling unit 006 in Nasarawa Ward 2.

The APC also beat PDP in the National Assembly elections. For the Senate election, APC scored 620 votes while PDP got 101 votes.

The result for the House of Representatives indicated that APC polled 661 while the PDP received 64 votes.

The state APC publicity secretary, Alhaji Sani Dododo, told newsmen that Buhari and all APC candidates would emerge victorious in the election.

He said that the APC as the ruling party in the state went to all nooks and crannies of the state to campaign for its candidates.

Dododo commended the people of Kebbi for their large turnout to exercise their franchise.

‘’The turnout of people is commendable, especially that of women. The cancellation of the election last week did not deter people from coming out, but rather ginger them.”

Also, results coming out from polling units across the state indicated that APC is having a field day in the state beating PDP with wide margin.

Some of the results obtained by Leadership in the Presidential and National Assembly election results in Birnin-Kebbi: GRA G/Kindi Zauro polling unit 008 presidential results: APC, 420, PDP, 102, invalid, 41, for the Senate, APC got 314, PDP, 208 while 39 were declared invalid. The story was also the same for House of Representatives election where APC got 385 votes and the PDP, 136 votes.
