Police Arrest Three Suspects For Stealing A 4-Year-Old Child In Ogun

No fewer than three suspects have been arrested by the Ogun State Police Commad for allegedly stealing a 4-year-old boy identified as Hammed Adeniran.

The suspects identified asĀ Abubakar Saidu, 22, Danladi Abdulkarim, 30, and Abdullah Idris, 25 were arrested while waiting to board a vehicle at Arepo bus stop along Lagos-Ibadan Expressway in Ogun state.

According to reports, theĀ suspectsĀ were nabbed after aĀ passerby who knew Hameed’s parents, alerted his mother Nimota Adeniran after he got home.

Police officers were mobilised to the bus stop after a complaint was filed at Warewa Police Station .

After they were accosted by the police, theĀ suspectsĀ disclosed thatĀ they are from Jigawa State could not explain what they were doing with the child.

It was further learnt that theĀ arrested suspects have been transferred to the criminal investigation and intelligence department for further investigation and prosecution on orders of the Ogun State Commissioner of Police, Kenneth Ebrimson.
