The Inspector-General of Police, Olatunji Disu, has approved the redeployment of Commissioners of Police (CPs) across various formations nationwide.
The directive, conveyed through a wireless message to all Commands and formations, follows an earlier reshuffle involving Assistant Inspectors-General of Police (AIGs).
Among the affected CPs are Akan Ezima, now posted as Director of the NPF-NCCC, Abuja; Abbas Sule to the Special Protection Unit at Force Headquarters, Abuja; and Ajo Geoffrey Ordue to INTERPOL, Force Headquarters, Abuja.
Others include Danjuma I. Yahaya to General Investigation at FCID Annex, Kaduna; Sheik M. Danko to the Force Investigation Department, Lagos; and Moses Ashu Ottah to SWAT, Abuja.

Magaji Ismaila has been assigned to Community Safety and Crime Prevention, ALG DOPS, Force Headquarters, Abuja, while Rebecca Uchenna Okereke takes over as Director of Music, Force Headquarters, Abuja.
According to the message from the Office of the Force Secretary, all postings take immediate effect.
