The Zamfara state chapter of the All Progressives Congress, APC has flagged off its campaign, as it is awaiting  the decision of the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC on the acceptance or otherwise of its contestants.

Governor Abdul-Aziz Yari who flagged off the campaign at Kaura Namoda town, the headquarters of Kaura Namoda local government area, maintained that the lists approved by the court would triumph.

Yari appealed to the opposing camp to join the party’s campaigns with a view to achieving greater success in the general election.

“We are appealing to the aggrieved camp to come over and join the state APC campaigns, so that we can join hands to build the party together”, he added.

Yari expressed satisfaction with the massive turn out of the party’s faithful to the rally.

In his remarks, APC chairman, Alhaji Lawali M. Liman urged people to remain calm and be law abiding and work hard for the victory of the party at the polls.

He further stressed that, the candidates of the party approved by the state high court would be accepted by INEC.
